What is out-of-network / direct-to-you physical therapy? You will be free to direct your care and the best plan to meet your goals. This means more than one issue can be addressed in a session, sessions can be 60, 75 or 90 minutes long, or you can book TWO sessions in one day to address two treatment priorities (examples: needing BOTH post-surgical care for a broken ankle AND chronic carpal tunnel symptoms; Bike fit consultation AND a separate physical therapy evaluation for patella tendonitis). You are free to manage the duration of your care beyond the insurance approved 6 or 10 visits in a timeframe that works best for you. My direct-to-you approach means you can schedule at your convenience online and select the service(s) that best meet you needs. and your symptoms

What is mobile physical therapy?Mobile physical therapy means I come to where you are! Whether it’s in your home or at a park for bike handling coaching, your schedule disruption can be minimized with me doing the travel to you. I am based in Bothell and able to serve as far north as Arlington, east to Sammamish and to the south Seattle limits. Travel rates apply and can be included as part of your scheduling process. To be most effective in your home for physical therapy and bike fitting services, I will need a 4 foot x 7 foot area to work. This is enough space for the massage table or bike trainer I will bring depending on the scheduled service.

Do I need a referral?Washington is a direct access state. This means a referral is not required to access physical therapy. If you plan to seek insurance reimbursement for your sessions, the insurance plan may require a referral or pre-authorization for coverage and reimbursement. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance plan to understand their requirements and the benefits associated with your plan.
